About Therapeutic D&D

In addition to individual therapy, I offer Therapeutic Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) as a specialty group option. These groups run in 9-week campaigns, meeting once a week for two hours, and are conducted entirely online using Zoom and D&D Beyond.

Mission

Groups are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of six participants, to support connection, safety, and meaningful engagement. Therapeutic D&D uses collaborative storytelling and role-play as tools for emotional exploration, identity work, boundary practice, and community-building. No prior D&D experience is needed, this is therapy first, with the game serving as a creative and supportive framework.

Vision

A world where storytelling, community, and play are recognized as powerful pathways to healing where every person has a safe space to explore identity, belong fully, and grow with courage.
